I hope we never see the days again of guidebooks with no diagrams or topo photos, with just a list of descriptions referring to the climb next to it.

example:

Climb A 35m 22 - 5 metres right of Climbdud.

Climb B 23m 12 - 8 metres right of Climbdud.

Climb C 45m 16 - 25 metres right of Climb B.

This sort of thing can go on for pages, and you have to find the first climb and work your way across the whole cliff to find your climb.

The Rock Magazine abridged guide to Araplies, Mt Buffalo and Grampians was terrible for this.

My first trip to Mt Rosea using this guide was torture! It works ok after youve located the landmark climbs but until then.....

So topo photos and good diagrams are the go!
