Pat, yeah we needed your Sherpa / rope gun skills last weekend. Aido was forced into belay slave duties. He had two pairs of hike boots racked and complained bitterly. We briefly considered tying them to the rope above him as he seconded, but figured they'd just snag on everything. Can't climb this weekend coming (I'll be in the Gramps hiking & scoping areas though). Maybe the following weekend. Aido's been training twice a week for the last month and is fired up for a big summer. Sagarmatha - light runners, yeah I like the idea! Guess I've always hiked in boots, but they're a pain to carry up a climb. Maybe even use one of those little sacks that harness's come in to stash & rack the runners? Just thinking out loud...
