Thanks for the links, will keep a close eye on them. Have booked the time with the Boss and as you suggest I am definently going somewhere regardless of the weather. Would be nice to spend some time at Araps as I have plenty of unfinished business there but Moonarie is sounding pretty attractive also surley it doesn,t rain in the desert??. I am currently investigating driving time from Sydney. So far it is looking like it may not be that different.... I was up in the mountains weekend before last and am thinking it can,t get too much colder than that anywhere! Cheers, Mike
