I didn't make it to the comp (was being a gym bunny at Hard Rock instead) but did turn up on Monday night (along with half of melbourne it felt like, nice friendly vibe) to play on all the new bouldering problems. I'm very much looking forward to Flemington regularlly stripping most of their bouldering cave every month or so and rebuilding new problems.

I really liked the problems put up, (as did my girlfriend) a nice range of easy/medium problems for all us bumblies to enjoy. Definate kudos to the flemington setters.

Just out of curiousity re the beginner/intermediate/open categories - what kinda level were people bouldering to be standard in each category? Were people in the beginner level ticking lots of 5s?

Jevon - were you in beginner or intermediate and how did you go?

I heard a rumour that hardrock was also going to do a bouldering comp series thing - one every month and possibly alternating between nunawadding and collingwood can anyone confirm/deny this?
