neil it took me 1.5 hrs to get there for a number of reasons including getting lost, which happens when your labouring up the hill, head down wondering when the hell you'll get there( i find waling uphill traumatic), and secondly I was a big fat tub of lard back then with no scientifically measurable leavel of fitness....sadly not much has changed..oh yes it has I'm older and weaker.

Phil, be sure to scope out the route to the right of Pocketfullofdreams, Demon Flower goes at about 30 or 31, look for the gently overhanging wall with almost no visable holds, you get a real appreciation for those that can even contemplate attempting to climb such lines.

Neil, from the photo in rockclimbing.com of you on Pockets, you look like all class and in full control!
