Fair enough :)

Bear with me I haven't written poetry since prep

Maybe twas better met:

There was this young chap
By the name of Damey
He travelled to Araps
With his old mate Jaimie

They arrived early morn
With the sun barely arisen
With a carload full
of bitter derision

He had set his sights high
Thought he might get on Punks
And headed off in a flurry
With a swagger like Gullich or Monks

Problem that was
He couldn't climb that wall
Twas barely a move
Before his body did fall

He held a finger to the sky
Curse you god! Why?
And the answer was clear
"You must be good to climb here"

He packed up his things
Many a tear was shed
He screamed over his shoulder
"Damn you Araps you're dead!"

Damo was in such a rage
He kicked a kid on the way out
And slammed the car door on his hand
Any all the way many foul things did he shout

Later that night
The poor little bub
Suckled on beers
At the Natimuk Pub

When in walked a few ravishing things
The LaTrobe Uni girls were out for the night
By now our friend Damey was under the weather
As they walked past he said "fancy a bite"?

But the Latrobe girls
Won't fall for that
They don't suffer fools
Not least this ACT brat

Later that night the barman kicked Damey out
Onto the street he tumbled like a sack of bricks
He screamed "Damn this town the people are clowns"
"And the routes are too hard and so are the chicks"
