Same goes for all/most climbing store staff in my opinion.
I once went around trying to find a smaller diameter belay device for my 8.8 mm doubles. I was always worried about whether I'd catch a big fall (or be caught) using my normal device. I went from store to store getting lectures about the ropes and this and that. |
