Hey Robin,
I'm from WA, though over in Vic at the moment studying but will be back in WA over the summer hols. I've been to Bob's a couple of times - its a great little crag. I don't think climbing is actually banned as such, just that you do so at your own risk. I don't think anyone has ever been fined or anything like that, people still climb there. The most up to date guide to Bob's Hollow is in the newest guidebook - West Australian ROCK (published by the same people who did margaret river rock) - its a good guidebook covering the best crags of WA. You'll find that this one has most of the routes in it. I put some info and photos up at http://www.rockclimbing.com/routes/listArea.php?AreaID=6465 a while ago, I think I ordered the routes from left to right, so you could always just try and use that as a guide?

Bob's is a really nice place - nice limestone (a bit sharp sometimes though), good views, ringbolts and nice routes. Shaved Cat has got to be one of the best sport routes I've done (though its not saying much as haven't done too many routes!). If you're going in summer it's a good idea to get up really early and climb - the crag is in the sun in the afternoon and it can get quite hot. If you have 4WD then that will cut down a lot of walking time!

Willys is nice too - fantastic atmosphere. The way to walk in is now actually a little different than described in the margaret river rock guidebook - after walking along the fence you don't actually go through the gate but instead walk over the stye and follow a path that leads to the top of the cliff (don't know whether that makes sense), I think it might have the new access details in the new guidebook. Anyway you can still walk the other way, just I think the farmer doesn't like it so much?

Well hope this has been useful, let me know if you need any other info.
-Pei :)
