Just to clarify Mikl's post - the dog (Harry) actually chewed through one full loop and halfway thru
the backup while I was cleaning the arete (Dirty Harry, 23) - Hari Kari (the groove & face to the
right) was cleaned by Nathan who handed me some gear (a nut, sling and cam) and said "Go for
it". I thought it was solid E5 to onsight, a little insecure with big fall potential onto a couple of
reasonable bits of gear in slightly dubious rock. Good fun.

Interestingly, Rock mag published a photo of the 1st ascent but incorrectly labeled the route as
being in WA. The photo was seen by a very keen englishman who actually flew to Perth and
called me up asking for directions to the crag - at which point I directed him to the airport and
suggested he send Baxter an invoice for his ticket.

I was actually chatting with Lee Cossey last weekend about Sunset rock - he's put up a few
routes there recently, one of which sounds awesome, 28 on bad gear or something like that.

Mikl - where's Bardwell Park? Sounds brilliant....
