sorry about the spelling mistakes.
my point was mainly that, if you are going to the trouble of putting in a bolt. put in a safe one (ie not a bash in carrot). bolts are artificial anyway so its ridiculous to have a dangerous bolt. unless your idea of "adventure" is clipping and trusting dodgy bolts. will it hold if i fall on it or rap on it??? maybe... maybe not??. if you want to get scared then run it out rather than place a shit bolt. ive replaced quite a few bash in carrots in the last few years with good bolts and the ease at which the carrots snap off or simply twist out is astonishing.
with regard to your questions
adventure climbers are more likely to climb this sort of route mentioned dont probably care about convenience (if they did they would go sport climbing!!), but convenience is not really about safety. a safe bolt is the only worthwhile bolt.
