Quiet time

Damietta

It has been very quiet here lately. I am keen to talk it over.

Is it:

a) because there is nothing to say
b) because people don't want to be evicted via the new 'voting off' function
c) the posts recently have been really crap
d) people are afraid of being abused
e) people are over it
f) people are busy at work
g) some people recently have been critical about posts and have related how they want posts to be strictly 'on topic' and to the point
h)other - feel free to elaborate

In order of highest to lowest for me Damien

c) the posts recently have been really crap (for the most part)
a) because there is nothing to say (that hasn't possibly been covered before, hit the search button before rehashing the same old questions eg. Which Rope query today)
e) people are over it (see point (c))
g) some people recently have been critical about posts and have related
how they want posts to be strictly 'on topic' and to the point (nothing with topics moving in focus - just not highjacked with nonsense posts)
f) people are busy at work (more to do with point (e) and point (a) hence why they are above)
d) people are afraid of being abused (personal abuse here is meaningless - I will just pity them)
b) because people don't want to be evicted via the new 'voting off' function (not at all)

Actually cos there's not much about climbing. Just 'net friends whose idle chatter could be handled by email instead of on a public forum. Winter doldrums? Lemme think of something ..

hey ,...
been very busy of late, no time for bouldering, gym or elsewhere. Busy to such a degree that seeing what is taking place on Chockstone doesn't get much of a look in. This I will say, when you step out for a while and then do pop you head back in, it does look very alien,... much ado about nothing..... in many ways.

Me thinks Damietta is too bored. I am keen to talk it over.

Is it:

a) no fights on rock lately
b) the fast cars havent been fast enough
c) no one is responding to damiettas name change anymore?

Nope, I've had about 5 years away from climbing doing other sports. Coming back to it now (slowly) though

Araps would have been nice, even with the rain. My paltry adventure went as follows

Friday - booze-up at Word Bar
Saturday - MTB ride Geelong-Queenscliffe and back
Sunday - Bouldering at the Ranges AM, run around Botanical Gardens and boatsheds PM
Monday- work followed by piss up at Transport Bar (saw Simon Crean there)
Tuesday - work

Any good trips/outings/adventures to report?
