I think it's only an issue if you plan on carrying chalk in your carry-on bag. (For laps around the toilet block!)

Thinking about this reminded me of my first trip overseas in 1978. I'm going through USA customs and they actually searched my backpack. The customs guy points to a bag of white powder and says, "What's that?" It was only chalk, but I start freaking out that I'm going to get taken out to a small room while they work out what type of drug it is(n't). My stuttering attempts to explain it was magnesium carbonate/gymnast's chalk were probably comical. I've always thought the main reason they didn't even get me to open the bag was they figured nobody would be silly enough to carry that big a bag of powder without attempting to hide it. :-)
