Is it the whole mindset of FA / new route as pinnacle of climbing that is at the core of rampant bolting? Having your clever route name immortalised? I can't imagine running out of challenges with the existing climbs. Perhaps you could have permission to bolt after you've climbed everything! If you want to do something obscure, top-rope it and get your fame on the Instagram. Top-roping is well underrated I reckon — if you're just after the physical climbing sensation / challenge without mucking around with gear, or fear.
