As I was unlearning how to knuckle walk the rifle range at Araps was a functioning rifle range. If you didn't hear the rifles firing, the red flags placed along the road were sufficient warning. So there were Sundays when you din't climb on the Watchtower faces. The rifle of choice was the .303, a relic of the second world war and many a spent bullet was souvenired from the ledges on the Watchtower faces. There were no shot guns used.
PS I am now fully bipedal and upright. |
