That 70,000 number is from last time they had car counters on the mt - about 15-20 yrs ago I think. They assume 3 people per car and multiply by that. given that some are busses with 20 kids maybe not too unreasonable... but pretty darn rubbery! I've colated all the data for overnight stays, this is just another avenue to get another perspective on usage data... and it will be rubbery too!
