Posting here under my day job - mapping for ParksVic. I'm (trying to) calculate usage statistics for Arapiles. There are records of about 6000 ascents/year from the good folks at thecrag.com. I live in Nati, there are at a guess 50 people who climb regularly in town, and I can think of only 5 who use thecrag to tick the climbs they do. These range from the OTT OCD tick-every-training-lap (ah, Adam Demmert...) to ticking every route you've done once (no matter if you've done it 73 times like Wend on Morfydd) to patchy tickers.

Going on this there may be about 60 000 ascents a year... which sounds like a lot! Even a more conservative 50k is a fair few.

I'm well aware of the limitations of this poll - I'm asking a subset of people who use an online service if they use another online service - it's likely to be a pretty skewed result, but just trying to get another data point. It would be good to go to the cliff and ask people on a busy day but Parks Wimmera is shortstaffed enough as it is.
