I think, if I disagreed with it, that it would still be so far down my list of concerns about wasteful / unnecessary / frivolous use of public funds that I am doubtful I could work up the energy to have a whinge over a cup of coffee about it. I think, if I felt ambivalent about it, it would still represent a positive change for enough people I care about, for me to in fact not feel ambivalent about it at all. In my reckoning of the world, that is all the argument I need.
