I've got some tales (perhaps tall....) to tell, Andy W. Back in 1990 I was thinking about the novelty ascents of Kachoong i.e Eating bananas at the lip etc So I thought I can out-do that, so I soloed this overhang/arête up right of Iron Void, I cruised up to the lip and had a shave there (with a cut-throat razor) and then floated up the arete., I thought is was perhaps 23. Well blow me down, the next day a couple of pommie geezers bolted the thing, struggled up it and called it "The Flashing Blade". I assumed they must have seen my ascent, but the 'toe rags' didn't acknowledge my first ascent.
