Like many big climbing achievements, future climbers will come back to this route and do it in better style with no porters, less social media wanking, leading all pitches free instead of team-free, etc. However I still give these guys heaps of respect for finishing a huge project and dealing with the demands of sponsorship and media with a modicum of grace. |
