There is a large industry built on the planting of choice land in Australia with radiata pine. Many houses possibly including yours will testify to that if they could. Go and tell them that they shouldn't plant more pines ... The argument that you shouldn't plant them because they are "a weed" is ridiculous. They are relatively easy to control and have provided a great service to the history of Australian climbing.

The absolute rediculousness of this of this weed based root sprout with fruit such as we see on the front page of todays Sydney morning herald, where some crazy greeny is pushing for laws against the manufacture of gender based toys such as the barbie doll and tonka type trucks because of the belief that they lead to problems such as 'domestic violence and the gender pay gap'.
Give me a break!! That's just pure sand based intellectualism.
Give me the pines at Araps and lets go climbing!!
