a recent email from insure4less: "We have been in negotiations with our underwriters over the past few weeks as they have been experiencing some significant losses from our alpine plan to the US / Canada. You are probably aware that hospital costs are much higher in the US than anywhere else in the World. Unfortunately they have concluded that they are not able to get the premium level required to avoid making further losses and have therefore withdrawn from this market. We are not aware of any other companies that do provide this cover but you could try www.needabroker.com.au to see if there are any Australian brokers that can assist." Any ideas on alternatives?
