Interesting question?

I live in Gisborne where a skate park has just recently been constructed. The local Pizza Shop was the main sponsor, but they fundraised for freaking ages (2-3yrs I think?) to get enough dough ($30k I think) to build it.

As far as liability is concerned I'm not sure who has it? Little dudes can regularly be seem smashing themselves up in the park, but perhaps they are to stoned to have teh motivation to sue the council?

I wonder what the response from climbers would be like in a fundraising situation? Poor I suspect. Climbers are inherently poor/cheap bastards, and they are also lazy for the most. So getting volunteers may also be a problem.... although the Burnley thing did bring out a fair amount of support... so... maybe?
