>"what about the farmers!?" >"I'm not taking my kids to school in the dark" first light is currently 5.30. goes to 6.30 with daylight saving so not much of a problem for most farmers the real problem is on extreme heat days particularly milking cows . the bonus is power is offpeak till 7.00 ESTime so an extra hour to finish in off peak @ 20 cent a kwh difference worth $5 to $10 a day to most dairy farmers who starts to take their kids to school at 6.30 !!!!
