It looks like the break-ins have started on a regular basis. Yesterday four cars were hit some time between 11:00 and 14:30. It was reported to Police, we waited for two and half hours for them to find out that the finger printing team is not available on Sundays. If it happens in the future I would still recommend reporting it to the police just so they have a record of the number of incidents, not sure I would wait for them to turn up. Plus you need a police incident number for insurance purposes.

Cars facing the cliff were not hit and first car on the right side was not hit all other cars were broken into.

This is likely to to continue since they seem to be getting a reasonable amount of booty everytime, although out of my car they only got $3 in change. They didn't like my sons Rohl Dahl CDs they through them into the bush (he was very happy to get them back). Surely Charlie and the chocolate factory was worth taking.

My advise is don't leave anything that is worth taking in the car. Leave the car doors unlocked and put a sign on the window that the car is open. I would say that is the best bet. Of course that does not stop them getting in the car and taking a dump on your back seat, but I suppose locked doors don't really stop them from doing that either.
