It doesnt have a manufacturer rating but from the test video's ive seen it always either slips the rope first or severes the rope before the GG2 fails.
I used a gri gri 2 regulary in conditions of continuous loading (1-2hours) at 2-3kN without issue on 11mm static rope
Releasing highloads can be hard as the Cam jams the rope very tightly at 2.5-3KN and people usually end up snapping the handle off if they are not careful. |
