I want it for 100-200 foot climbs- staight up and down with little equipement. I like ascending with a mechanical hand device tied from my right foot and a blake hitch tied to my harness. I want to descend using a knot tied from my harness. The blake hitch knot gets to tight and hot. Is there a knot you know that can descend well without getting too hot. I have a high-temp rope of smaller diameter than the main rope but can't seem to find a good descending technique. I'll ltry the munter hitch. thx. |
