G'day, heading down to Araps from the Blueies and looking for some info... We always do the leave after work drive, and usually end up getting tired somewhere 2 hours either side of Albury. What follows is driving around looking for the non-rapiest spot, only to be kept awake by trucks all night.. Any one willing to share their favourite places to stop and put up a tent near the Hume around 4-6 hours south of Sydney?? Not super keen on the whole 'sleep on a picnic table in a rest stop thing', rather looking for state or national parks within 20 mins of the highway... Cheers.
