Yep its our birthday today. On 7th November 2003 after closing Summer Hill a week before, our regulars, who had got used to topping out at 7m, had to drag themselves up an extra 9m or so.
Tonight around 6 we'll be having a few "refreshments", everyone's invited. Come over and swap some stories.
If you can't make it, and you have an anecdote or two about climbing at St Peters, or even Summer Hill for you crusties out there, maybe post them here. i'll post a few pics here as well.
Thanks to all the staff and climbers over the years who made this place such a great thing to be part of.

geez I wonder how much cashola I've blown at that joint... dunno if I was there the first day or not but was def there in the first week
prior to that it was the Rocknazium at taren point (RIP)

A young Adam Ondra, winning his category at our biggest comp, the World Youth Championships in August 2008.
There were other future stars there, including Johanna Ernst, who also won her category and then came back the next day after the comp and worked all the finals routes. You could see why she's become one of the best.
