If this is the result of scrapping the parks entry fee, then it sucks arse. Why should overnight users be the only ones paying for parks maintenance. Day visitors crap into toilets too! That is exorbitantly expensive, and will result in climbers (generally dirtbag like people) finding ways to bend the rules, eg bush camping, which will lead to increased wear and tear in locales without the infrastructure to deal with it (particularly poorly buried shit).
