Yes too many hates here to mention, or perhaps its just really driven home the fact the australian is the best place in the world to be a climber. I've even started bouldering (man that shit is hard!).

Washington DC Hates as a climber pt II:
1. weather - steamy and slimy one day, steamier the next. I've taken to wearing a pantyliner under my helmet on trad stuff - yummy!! Stops the salty sweat streaming into my eyeballs whilst I'm trying to save my life
2. weather - freezing in winter - I've taken to wearing beanies under my helmet.
3. explaining what a beanie is (and a layback, and bridging, and what an anchor should really look like..)
4. Having to worry that the rock wont support your perfect placement as you are at a disgusting cliff.
5. having to drive 4 hours to get to a great cliff (hang on - this could be melbourne...)
6. driving the 4 hours home from the great cliff and still being in a hole (not melbourne anymore)
