I agree that its a little too confusing, you could however make it simpler by this change:
skill.strength.pro
skill = (Ewbank x 1/2 rounded down)*
strength = 3 - 0 (sandbagged!, hard, ok for grade, easy)
protection = 3 - 0 (nonexistant, scarce, ok, good)
eg. well graded 16 hand crack good pro = 8.1.1
hard 15 off width with poor pro = 7.3.2
easy 13 on total choss = 6.0.3
11 run out slab = 5.1.2
This makes its simpler because all the figures are on the lines of higher numbers == harder/more dangerous.
Even with that its still a little too complicated for general use. |
