I know its a tough ask for climbing at Pierces, but if you ever park somewhere and can take all your gear and valuables with you, I find that leaving your car unlocked with the empty glove box and center console open for theives to see normally works. I used to go surfing around some shady south-coast carparks, and while other people have had windows smashed, my car was normally the only one intact.
