I added to this to my post above because I got a little nervous upon a second look. But reckon the below solution would go. "You could turn the hex so that one end was against the rock and the other in contact with the cam (as long as the two inner lobes,those that are closer together, are against the hex end). That would probably stabilize the rig." Mmmmm.......B-Pie.
