Rebelaying a rope for jugging 20-Mar-2012 At 8:55:54 AM climbau
I build an anchor that I would be happy to belay off. It may seem like overkill, but the way I look at it is that if you are trying to avoid contact with a piece of rock (sharp rope trasher or loose death-block) you certainly don't want to be swinging wildly into it. Even if I am just trying to get a more direct line I still don't like the idea of my re-belay busting apart, 'cause then I will be forced to poop a little. And that just ain't a good look. :)
