I carry one fifi and I'll clip it into anything around, including directly into gear or a hanger. Only use two ladders, but I make sure they are super comfy. Adjustable daisies are quicker and less strenuous on steeps, roofs and handy in some cleaning situations. I hardly ever use them as I feel they cost a lot of height, but you can use a fifi at the same time. Hard or easy, I only ever use one biner to connect daisy and ladder, and it's an oval wire. The only way to stay sane when it gets harder is to bounce test hard. Never just go with it. If it's not a dodgy piece, I just jerk the ladder with my hands and go....
