Best:
Scimitar (18), Should have jumped on this long ago. Great climbing and good gear all the way. Somehow manages to avoid a battle with the Wolgan Chossmonster.
Sisyphus Summits, 5.10d, Canmore, Canadian Rockies. A long, cold day out.
Quo Vadis (19) araps. Glad I left this one until I was feeling strong - committing to the end.
Worst:
Kahl of the Dawn, 5.10d, or for that matter, anything on Yamnuska, Canmore. Limestone that makes some of mikl's creations (e.g. dirty rotten pig) on Bluey's cheese look appealing. Bailed after 4 pitches of choss that didn't look like getting any better.
The Swinging Detective (22), Orroral Ridge. Mostly for the fact that it puts you on top of a pinnacle with one dodgy homemade ring/hanger combination to rap from.
I was going to suggest the 'Ugly' part of the Good, the Bad and the Ugly at araps, but was forewarned there, so will instead give it to Chamelon Connection. Some good and well protected climbing on P3, but I'd not want to be a grade 13/14 leader for the rest of it.
