if its inspected, tagged and compliant to AS1891 and 4488 then go for it. i doubt much of your recreational stuff will unfortunately!! australian standards will stamp harnesses you fall out of if unconscious, but a proven system isn't allowed. high five for bullshit bureaucracy!! but if your a qualified guide its a completely different kettle of fish. your recreational stuff will, all of a sudden, be magically be ok for abseiling people off the building....
