Hi, I know this has been asked many times before and I've even responded to this question myself. I usually use IHI Bupa but when reviewing their current policy I noticed an "exception to cover" for "search and rescue services". I'm fairly sure they used to cover S&R. BMC and NZAC only cover residents of the respective countries and AAC(uk) only cover up to 6000m. Does anyone know of an insurance policy that covers mountaineers for medical insurance, search and rescue, and repatriation without restrictions on location, routes/grades, or altitude?
