As far as I can tell, there is no Natimuk Douglas RAMSAR site.

None between Lake Albacutya and the Hamilton Highway. (There was a nomination in 2002 - I guess it didn't get up.)

As for there being nothing wrong with NIMBYism, it can be appalling. A case in point. I live near one of Melbourne's two Hindu temples. When it was established, in what had previously been a Church, some of the locals objected because of the sort of people it would attract. (Nasty black ones!)
