I would have no problem with an open cut mineral sand mine in front of the Mt, for you all to look out over and to bump up property prices in Nati.
However to think of having one amongst the string of lakes that make up the Natimuk Douglas RAMSAR site is wrong. Some places are too delicate to have mines in. That part of the Wimmera has precious little relativly undisturbed habitat left, and as it is my back yard I think it is my right to say I don't like the idea of digging up that bit. |
