Why are his bolts poxy? As I said, I am not an anti-bolt fanatic. I have thoroughly enjoyed bolting new routes in the Gramps, and figured that perhaps John might also. I reckon it would be far more rewarding to create a stellar new route of his own than put a controversial bolt in the middle of someone else’s classic. I am also not against bolts at Araps in general, but disagree that one should be placed where John has suggested.
