A great book that limits itself to the gymnastic and mental techniques used in sport climbing. It can be a real eye opener in terms of a climber's approach to competition, or working a climb.

Although not as thorough or scientific in approach as "performance rock climbing" by neuman and goddard, it touches on some useful techniques like visualisation, centering, and progressive muscle relaxation.
