9-Jul-2004 Natimuk wins Triple J comp
Menno Took reports...I'm not sure if you heard on Triple J radio but they announced the winner of the one night stand competition where a regional town in Australia gets a bunch of big name bands to play in their town for one night. Natimuk, near Araps, won it :) Last Friday Klaus Klein abseiled down the triple J studios to deliver their entry. The entry was a paper mache rock and inside was a animation produced by Dave Jones (hard aussie rock climber) and another well known female climber who's name escapes me now. Most cool :) It would be interesting to see what a little place like Natimuk looks like with 1000's of people in it...
