Maybe they were also looking at Crimson Cringe (5.12a)?

The beta on mountainproject mentions a #4 and #3 camalot down low so maybe there's some wider climbing there.

Just watched this on my lunchbreak... classic example of how amazing trad climbing is not a spectator sport..

I'm guessing he was climbing more than just this crack & didn't want to remove all the tape in between hand jamb climbs.

I'm guessing you haven't heard of Steel Panther? They're AWESOME!!

My Gen Y tells me Steel Panther are an American comedy rock/glam metal band from Los Angeles, California, mostly known for their profane and humorous lyrics, as well as their exaggerated on-stage personae that parody the stereotypical 1980s "glam metal" lifestyle.

which is why I haven't heard of them

(didn't take long to get off-topic eh?)

Time wise maybe, but since it was the 4th reply in the thread - that's gotta count more?

I think we've managed to get off topic in the first reply before.

She did. She wasn't impressed though.

It's a toss up between the video, watching paint dry, and watching grass grow.
