I'm up in Sydney next week for a week or two staying close to Wynyard St in the city. Whats the best gym (Bouldering) to goto from there... - Distance vs convenience vs coolness of gym : )
I don't have a car so it's taxi or PT.

5 or so stops on the train from the CBD. Get off at St Peters train station. Less than 15 minutes. Good bouldering area about the same size as Lactic, + there are 'auto-belay' ropes in the larger area if you still want to get pumped in a harness.

I'd only get the one weekend to go outdoors, I was thinking of just heading to the balkin's or Northern Beaches for a boulder....

i could catch a train up to the bluey's or down to Nowra etc but for 2 days gotta find a partner, borrow rope, draws, find accom.... I guess i must be climbing too much sport at the moment cause it sounds to hard hehehe

I'd be keen if I knew a few people going outdoors....Most likely 24/25th of July : )

there will be many people going to nowra, they will have gear. I'd base the decision on weather. Many peope do a day trip to nowra and a mornings bouldering in Sydney.

Yeah I might do, I'll wait till i know exactly how long i'm up for before needing to return to mexico : ) and take it from there.
