I've Got time, got a car, got a rack, got a boulder matt, got a rope, got good attitude and I even finally got milk.... but what i don't have is a climbing partner for this weekend....... : (
Was hoping to climb this weekend Grampians or Araps, Sport trad bouldering happy climbing / bouldering anything. I can drive / share fuel or share fuel get a lift.
I don't finish work until 6pm so it'd be a 7pm leave time Friday night...
Been lead climbing Trad and Sport for 10+ years and only dropped 5 and 1/2 people in that time... ; )
Anyone keen for a climb this weekend 20/21st June ? PM me and i'll send ya my details...
Kind Regards,
Chris

Cheers Rich, would have been good...
Yeah I do remember the .5 deckout incident like it was yesterday.... It was on spinning blades.... my partner managed to get to the 5th bolt where a ghostly voice spoke to us....... "Only The Penitent Man Will Pass" not knowing what a penitent man was and being a women ; ) she decided to continue on reaching the no hands rest within a few moves....when out of nowhere these 2 fat ass Ryobi blades just popped out of no where and chopped my sport climbing buddy in half, she fought hard struggling to hold on one arm, from the right leg, of the bottom half, of her severed torso. Unfortunately the pump, lack of blood, and also the fact she was actually completely severed in half made holding on far too difficult.....
There was a short scream..... then silence... ; )
Basically i managed to save her from the waste down but unfortunately the upper torso decked out, could not be retrieved and basically was eaten by a million hungry Nowra-esk misquito's.......
Twas a long time ago now and i'm a new person....
Most of the other deaths came on the side of a Wall in the states where i was climbing with my dad and sister and 2 Noobs fell and we somehow?? ended up with 4 people hanging from a Dodgy #0.5 WC Cam..... my sister (Stupid b#tch) couldn't plug another cam in because she was short and useless so i did what any climber would do, I pulled out my climbing knife and cut the rope....
Yes I'm bored at work....
Climbing Anyone ? I promise no more movie cliche climbing ummm Jokes... Although i have been known to sing on belay ledges
Cheers
Chris.
