Warrumbungles for a month or so?

Hi folks,

Going from Sydney to the Warrumbungles for a month or so. Space for one in the car from Sydney. I've got a pretty comfortable long-term camp set-up and you'll just need sleeping gear.Got a proper gas jet for serious cooking and am a pretty accomplished campfire cook. We won't want for good food. Can do proper campground (with showers, power and if I get Optus 4G reception then internet access while at camp) or go full bush to save our satoshis (or pennies, if that's your game), I'm easy. Happy to meet anyone there if you're not in Sydney. Reasonably flexible with timing but would like to head off soon.

I've got a full rack with a few doubles of some cams and loads of stoppers and general gear. More cams the merrier up there and we'll need a bigger rack for some of the long routes if you like to feel safe. Looking for someone to initially climb some of the shorter crags until we know each other and then tackle some of the longer multi-pitch routes. Not too fussed about grades and will climb from 10 to low-mid twenties. I just wanna go bush. I'd prefer someone comfortable swapping leads but any seconding experience is sufficient.

I've been climbing since last century and have loads of trad experience around Australia. Never been to the Warrubungles. Looks awesome! Long-term plans include a trip back to the greatest crag in the world, Moonarie. There are always more projects there.

You can check out my profile on theCrag under "Slapper" if you like but I haven't updated it in over a decade. Lots of climbs in Victoria we're not allowed to climb anymore. Good times.

Don't be shy!

My first thought was "oh my god a month at the Warrumbungles". My next thought was "Oh My God, a Month at the WARRUMBUNGLES." Then I thought "stop dreaming and get back to working for the man".

I've passed on your message to some unemployed whipper snappers. They bring enthusium, muscles, and probably weed.
