Dusted before the tick?? So just how popular is this route if it needs dusting .... especially at this time of the year?

Last Saturday saw four climbers line up in the ressies match. Despite the result which saw Natimuk 1.4 (10) lose to Stawell Swifts 22.9 (141), it was a pretty entertaining game. The Rams had many good passages of play, but the lack of any dominant forwards saw lots of opportunities repelled.

Gun-climber Simon Weill earned best-on-ground honours. Ross Taylor should have also been named amongst the best, given his outstanding game in the ruck. (I dunno what happened Ross... I think your number must have been recorded with someone else’s name).

Dan (I never learnt your surname) from last week was also in the action, along with Christoph Gill.

The senior game (which I played in) saw a pathetic performance from Nati. We were beaten 14.20 (104) to 2.7 (19) in a game which had been hyped as a possible win for Nati.

Only two games left for the season. Next week we play Laharum at their ground on the northern edge of the Grampians.

Here are some photos. These will probably be the last photos I post for a while.

This Saturday is your last chance to pull on the blue and gold and have a run with the Nati Rams. It is the final clash for the season and we play Harrow-Balmoral at home.

Last week we were short of a few players. The scores speak for themselves...

Senior game: Laharum 53.26 (344) defeated Natimuk 0.3 (3)
Reserves game: Laharum 47.13 (295) defeated Natimuk 0.0 (0)

Yep... it sure was a tough day at the office.

That's a bit cruel phil_nev.

The Rams are going to have to win by a very very big margin this week to make the finals.

Did you know the Rams made the national news on Monday Simon?

Silly question - why are the Stawell Swifts wearing Port Power guernseys?

Swifts changed their colours a few years ago as their old colours were very similar to one of the other teams in the league (Swifts only moved into our league in recent years). I suppose it makes sense to buy guernseys that are already in production.

No, I didn't know that. What station? (I did hear it received comment in the Herald Sun).

Thanks for that. It's actually part of a marketing campaign by the club to generate some free publicity.
