The VCC is working on republishing the regional Victorian guidebooks.
The last books were published between 2002 and about 2008 and spanned 3 volumes: north-west, south-west and Eastern. That's everything except for Arapiles, Grampians and Buffalo.
They've been long out of print and present-day climbers aren't able to access much of the information in them.
Can you help? I'm interested in hearing from you if you have:
- local knowledge of any Victorian crags,
- good quality photos of climbers,
- unpublished new routes,
- updated access information, or
- willingness to do some field research and exploration.
Get in touch.

Sounds like a big project, but also an important one. As if theCrag ever went we'd loose all the more recent information as I for one have only been adding new routes there...

No biggy - the next generation of retrobolters won’t care if their chosen line has been climbed, named and graded. If they have a conscience it would then be salved by the dearth of information!
