Has anyone climbed or even been to the Kyneton Quarry in oh, the last half decade? The chockstone guide makes is sound absolutely thrilling. Since its 15m from home I though it might be worth a visit.
I drove past this morning whilst taking care of other chores and it appears to be occupied by the local gun club, judging by the extensive signage. Did I have the right place? I couldn't see the quarry from the road. Is there any access that has been negotiated with said gun club?

Haven't been in there in a long time - didn't bother climbing anything!
Black Hill is a couple of minutes up the road. Great bouldering if you hunt around and the routes are okay too...

Well familiar with Black Hill. But since it's all local to me, I figured it was worth a visit (once).

We often walk the dogs in that area, like lots of locals and we've seen horses as well so access isn't an issue. I think I can honestly say it isn't worth the effort. Go to Black Hill instead, or there is a couple of tors in the same reserve, near the corner of the Baynton Rd and Mt St Mary's Lane that have one or two problems.
